Special Projects
From the very beginning of Adams Morgan Stained Glass, extraordinary museum level restorations have included major antiques and very special clients.
Our very first project was restoring this extraordinary 4' x 6' scenic stained glass antique window. Design may be associated with Philadelphia artists Violet Oakley and Edith Emerson. Severely damaged and with previous inferior repairs, all reworked for the first year of Adams Morgan Stained Glass for Americana collector, Bob Fratkin. Daniel presented a slideshow of the restoration at Smithsonian Associates.

Gothic Stone rose window restored for Universalist National Memorial Church. Washington, D.C. Studio associate, Hannah Bernhardt, organized re-leading and glass painting for 150 sections and difficult re-installation with Walker Mathew's Federal Masonry Restoration Company.
Washington's Holy Redeemer College brought this painted Christ window from Erie, Pennsylvania. We rebuilt the bottom, replacing clear glass with a matching texture, added the green border, and incorporated the window into the entrance of their new Alphonsus Library.
Major English Victorian with painted scenes of agrarian life. Restored and installed in the stairwell of custom built Chevy Chase, MD residence.
